1. Agreement
By accessing or using InterviewGym, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are effective on the date shown above.
2. The service
InterviewGym is an interview-practice and career-preparation product. It provides account and profile tools, practice workflows, resume storage, and product previews intended to help users prepare and reflect.
InterviewGym remains under development. Some features use demos, previews, mock data, static feedback, or browser-local state. Displayed coaching, analysis, scores, progress, resume feedback, and administrator reporting may not be personalized or persistent. Features and data behavior may change as the product develops.
3. Accounts
You agree to provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us at contact@interviewgym.app if you suspect unauthorized use. Email/password accounts may require email verification. Google Sign-In is handled through Google and Supabase Auth.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by law. InterviewGym does not currently offer self-service account deletion; deletion requests can be sent to the contact address above.
4. Appropriate use
You may not use InterviewGym to:
- violate applicable law or another person’s rights;
- access accounts, systems, or data without authorization, or conduct security testing without permission;
- introduce malware or interfere with service operation;
- harass, abuse, deceive, or harm another person;
- scrape or automate access in a way that disrupts the service; or
- upload content you do not have the right to use, or upload malicious or deceptive files.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit, including resumes, recordings, answers, and messages. You give InterviewGym only the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content to provide and maintain the service. You are responsible for having the rights needed to submit it.
In the current product, interview recordings remain in the browser and are not persisted by the interview submission service. Contact messages are transmitted by email providers, and resume files are persisted in private storage as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Educational and career-preparation limits
InterviewGym is for practice and informational purposes. It does not guarantee an interview, job offer, employment, promotion, admission, or any other outcome. Scores and feedback are not definitive hiring or admissions decisions. You remain responsible for your decisions, representations, and application materials.
7. Preview and demonstration features
Mock and preview features help demonstrate intended product workflows. Their content may be static, incomplete, or non-persistent, and integrations may not yet be connected to a production backend. We may revise or replace these features as development continues.
8. Third-party services
InterviewGym relies on Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage; Google for optional sign-in; Vercel for application hosting; Resend for email delivery; and Cloudflare for domain and email-routing infrastructure. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Intellectual property
InterviewGym and its licensors retain rights in the application code, branding, design, and original service content. These terms do not give you ownership of those materials. You retain ownership of your submitted content as described above.
10. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the service develops. Errors, interruptions, and maintenance may occur, and we do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability. We will try to make changes proportionate to the product’s development stage and user impact.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a material violation of these terms, unlawful activity, abuse, or a security threat. Where appropriate, we may contact the account holder before or after taking action.
12. Disclaimers
InterviewGym is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular employment or admissions outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, InterviewGym is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, loss of access, or reliance on mock, preview, or informational output. Liability that cannot lawfully be limited remains unaffected. These terms do not set an arbitrary monetary cap.
14. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as InterviewGym changes. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@interviewgym.app. For general questions, you may also use the Contact page.
